Kometa Halleya, 1986

Lista komet okresowych, czyli mających okres obiegu wokół Słońca mniejszy niż 200 lat. Przedstawia ona oznaczenia oficjalne komet (według standardu IAU) oraz nazwiska odkrywców. „P” w nazwie oznacza kometę o okresie do 200 lat (lub z udokumentowaną wcześniejszą obserwacją wskazującą na periodyczność dłuższą nawet niż 200 lat), natomiast „D” informuje o fakcie rozpadu komety, zderzeniu się jej z jakąś planetą lub zagubieniu komety.
