Alan Ayckbourn (ur. 12 kwietnia 1939 roku w Londynie) – współczesny brytyjski komediopisarz. Napisał ponad 75 sztuk teatralnych. W latach 1972 -2009 był dyrektorem artystycznym Stephen Joseph Theatre w Scarborough, Anglii. Ponad 40 Jego sztuk wystawiono na West Endzie i 10 na Broadwayu.
